These are not just commands or verbal cues, but words that have transformed both my personal life and my yoga practice….
Words cannot define or articulate what a regular practice of yoga and meditation have done for me. I became reacquainted with yoga in 2005 after going through a stressful period in my life that effected many areas of my life. My yoga practice has taught me to handle life’s greatest challenges with ease, balance, and grace. It has not only served as a vehicle for self-discovery and self-transformation, but it has helped me to reconnect with all the important things in my life: my relationships, personal goals, overall well being, and awareness of community.
My insatiable need to deepen my yoga practice led me to complete my 230 hr YTT at Yoga: Body, Mind, & Spirit with Lisa Clark and David Beadle in 2010. Along with Lisa and David, other teachers that have influenced and shaped my yoga practice are Cindy Widnes, Erich Schiffman, and B.K.S. Iyengar.
